Air Knife Coating Head for Paper Coating Machine

Introduction:

1) The air knife coater uses air that is ejected by pressurization, to control coating amount and make the coating layer smooth.

2) Air knife coating has the advantage of being able to get a thick coating amount, the coating layer is relatively uniform, paper breaking occurs rarely during coating process. It is especially suitable for pressure-sensitive coating. Under normal circumstances we recommend the air knife way, with air separator, less splash.

3) Air knife coater is mainly composed by the eagle beak knife, feeding roll, pressing roll, metering rod, backing roll, air separator, draft fan for separator, high pressure fan and frame etc.

4) This coating device is characterized by a short distance between the air knife backing roll and the feeding roll, and the coated paper is less water migrated and wrinkled after the metering rod. It has the advantages of compact structure, wide application range, convenience to adjust the coating weight and so on.
