Thermal paper Bisphenol A (Bisphenol A, chemical formula C15H16O2) white needle-like crystals. Bisphenol A (abbreviated as BPA) can be used as a developer and colorless dye on thermal paper in concentrations as high as about 20 mg per gram of paper. The paper is used in airplane tickets, ATMs, dispensers and cash registers.
