Customizable Paper Coating Machine for Thermal Paper
2200/300 thermal paper coating machine mainly consists of automatic paper unwinding, blade coaters and hot air drying, back coating, paper finishing,calendering and winding section. Distributed drive by variable frequency motor, it has a simple structure, easy operation and maintenance, low broke rate and so on.
1.Machine performance
High-precision closed-loop tension control consists of programmable logic controller (PLC), touch screen and high- performance frequency converter, rotary encoder, proximity switch and tension sensor to reduce paper breakage during production and improve productivity and yield.
1.1 Operation of the whole machine
The machine is controlled by the touch screen; with simple operation, high degree of automation, only need to input the speed, tension and other data, the machine can achieve automatic synchronization control.

2. Main structure
2.1 automatic splicing of unwinding
It consists of a duplex-reel paper stand and a paper splicer, the stand Includes rack, swing arm, rotating worm gear box, safety chucks, air shaft, brake and paper guide rolls. The splicer includes arm, pressing roll, paper cutting knife and guide roll. The new paper reel can be prepared on the rack when machine running.
2.2 Pull rolls

2.3 Blade knife coater
Feeding roller with separate AC variable frequency drive motor, according to process requirement, the feeding roll speed can be adjusted separately.
Paint tray made of 1.5mm thick stainless steel SS304, divided into the feed chamber, overflow chamber and backflow chamber, inlet port at the bottom of the trough, in order to promote the liquidity of paint. In the trough it should avoid stagnant dead zones to prevent coating caking; back flow is 60-80% of total flow, feed roll manually lifted, with flexible lifting and falling.
Blade beam is steel plate welded structure. Rotating bearing is plain bearings, model GE80ES.Single-point adjustment device is accurate screw thread device for cross coating weight. The adjustment spacing of cross coating weight is 70mm.
Equipped with air source treatment components and control components for coating station to achieve Feeding roller moving, Coating tray moving and blade clamping.
Fine tune is between feeding roller and backing roller, to control the distance between the two rollers.
2.4 Drying system
The system consists of floatation hot air oven, draught fan, heat exchanger or gas burner, ventilation door, control systems and air ducts.

Paper out of the oven box goes through the hot cylinder, it will be more flat, the surface smoothness will also be improved, and paper warpage can be corrected.
2.7 Soft calender of Double rollers
Calender is to improve the paper surface smoothness and improve the tightness of the paper so to improve the quality of the product.
2.8 Automatic splicing of winding
It consists of a duplex roll paper stand and a paper splicer, the stand Includes rack, swing arm, rotating worm gear box, safety chucks, pneumatic shaft, winding motor and paper guide rolls. The splicer includes arm, pressing roll, paper cutting knife and guide roll.
2.9 Frame and walk stage
Beams, columns, fixed length beams all made of profile steel, walkway and pedals made of tread plate, railing of 1-inch pipe, ladder of ordinary steel.
Traverse walkway is seamless steel plate of one sheet. Frame and walkway, rust polished after machining process, then two coats of anti-rust paint, at last surface paint spray (surface paint according to customer requirements)
2.10 Foundation section,full set, including anchor bolts
Base plate of cast iron, the material is HT-150, finish machining after aging treatment.

2.12 Electrical, pneumatic section
Pneumatic control components and electrical components like PLC, inverters and motors, the joint and valve in the machine are provided. PLC and inverters are from SIEMENS, DP communication.
3.Working principle of automatic splicing
Place two paper reels on the duplex-roll paper stand and the first reel of paper is injected manually and bond on the paper winding core, while machine running, prepare the joint on the second reel. When the first reel nearly finished, the second roll of paper is transferred to the position to be bonded, and the paper splicer device is lifted in place, and the paper assistant drive is turned on. When the speed synchronization is reached, splicer works and breaks the paper to complete the process of bonding. The first reel finished, put the third paper roll, and so on
